VANTAGE 'EVERYDAY' CARS

Vantage Star Cars is Australia’s number one supplier of unique cars to the film, television, promotions and photographic industry. We book in up to 10 car jobs per week all over Australia. The most popular regions for filming are around capital cities and The Gold Coast, although jobs do come up in other areas from time to time.

 

Although our business does promote unique cars, VSC often gets calls for ‘everyday’ cars. The sort of cars you would see in a typical street, on a building site or in a second hand car yard (all scenes we often need to replicate for TV and film).

 

If your car was made after 1980 is unmodified, common, registered and in any condition we are happy to list your car for TV and film work.

 

Your ‘everyday’ car will not be shown in our online catalogue like the Unique Cars, instead they will be kept on our database which we draw on as cars are needed.

 

The ‘everyday’ list of cars makes it easy for us to find cars in a hurry and it also means your car will be given priority when suitable jobs come up. This means a good possibility of extra pocket money for you as well as a fun experience. 

 

Payment for use of ‘everyday’ cars in film and TV can vary from $125 to $500 per day. Often you are free to leave the car with production or stay and watch (or drive) the car in the scenes. Every production we work with has full insurance and all have responsible cast and crew who look after the cars.

 

We will not list unique, modified or collectable cars in the Everyday List, they are best listed in our Star Cars Catalogue that shows off the car on its own webpage. Unique Cars listed in the Star Cars Catalogue are most likely to get work as they are showcased and sort after by productions.
