WHO IS VANTAGE?

Vantage Management has been working with the film and television industry since 1998, our key role has been to help cast thousands of sports people for major roles, stunt / stand ins and extras in TV commercials, film, local productions and photographic campaigns.

WHY HAS VANTAGE FIT BODIES BEEN CREATED?

Our years of experience have shown us that the most popular talent type we have been asked for has been FIT and “HEALTHY”.

This demand coupled with Australia's determination to get fitter has inspired us to build a section of our agency for just FIT BODIES.

As both Australian and overseas productions (filming here) are constantly seeking fit and healthy people for their scenes, Vantage is creating a one stop shop for producers looking for that fresh, fit Aussie face.

DO I NEED TO BE A PROFESSIONAL ATHLETE?

You don’t need to be a professional athlete to be listed, in fact we are looking for everyone from professionals to the casual jogger. If you are in good shape and have a healthy look we are keen to have you in our catalogue.

WHAT AGE GROUP IS VANTAGE FIT BODIES LOOKING FOR?

We welcome athletes over 15 years of age. We have had requests for talent from 15 to 80 years for previous castings.

VFB is not really interested in athletes younger than 15 as casting agents will go to a 'kids' agency to find them.

GUYS OR GIRLS?

VANTAGE gets equal call for both sexes.

WHAT 'LOOK' ARE YOU AFTER?

We are not just looking for “beautiful” people, we get calls for all types and all looks, this diversity will give producers plenty of options for their production.

I ALREADY HAVE AN AGENT, CAN I STILL JOIN VFB?

Sure, we have no problem with you having an acting or modeling agent. As VFB is being contacted by casting directors for athletes we don't get the same calls as your other agent would, so in fact, VFB would be a great way for fit actors and models to find MORE opportunities for work.

LEGALLY, WHAT ARE THE REQUIREMENTS?

You will need to be an Australian resident or have a current working visa.

DOES IT MATTER WHERE I LIVE?

Vantage is seeking talent from all over Australia to attend castings and callouts. Please be aware that most castings occur in major or capital cities so if you are outside of these areas you may be required to travel.

WHEN DO CASTINGS TAKE PLACE?

Most castings are during weekdays and sometimes at relatively short notice so you need to be in a situation where you can make time to attend.

WHAT IS A CASTING?

A casting is like a job interview for a TV/film role. It is where the casting director will take a photo of you and get you on film to present to the director. The director then decides who they want in their production. Sometimes there is a little bit of simple acting or role play required, never anything difficult.

DO I GET PAID TO ATTEND A CASTING?

No, not to attend the first casting. If you get a call back (second casting) you will get a small fee and if you get the part you will get SERIOUS MONEY.

HOW MUCH COULD I GET PAID?

We can tell you that most jobs pay a minimum of $500 per day for small roles and we have had cases where some of our talent has been paid over $10 000 per day!

IS VANTAGE ACTIVE IN THE TV/FILM INDUSTRY? 

Vantage does regular business to business marketing with production companies, advertising companies and casting agents within Australia to ensure our talent is considered for all possible opportunities. Vantage is also listed in major production directories in Australia and overseas. Vantage has and will continue to work with some of Australia's most well known production companies and casting agents. Due to our diversity and professional attitude, Vantage is fast becoming a "first call" for many producers.

WHAT DOES MY LISTING CONSIST OF?

Your photos and basic information (not personal information) will appear in our catalogue that is referenced by producers and casting agents. It is from this listing that you may be requested for a casting or direct call out. You can view our current listings by clicking on the CATALOGUE button in the left margin.

IS MY PERSONAL INFORMATION SAFE?

Yes, Vantage will NEVER disclose your personal information to any third parties except in cases where you are going to be in their production. Vantage has agreements with producers to not disclose talents details except for the use of required business.

DO I NEED ACTING/MODELLING EXPERIENCE?

No, the producers do not expect VANTAGE FIT BODIES talent to have acting training or experience. As long as you are able to follow basic instruction you will be fine. If you do have experience then that is great too.

TRUE STORY

One of the DREAM jobs we have cast was for a personal trainer who was paid $7 000 for a one day shoot at a private waterfall, not only did he have paradise to himself, the production company also flew him first class and put him up in 5 star accommodation! Tough work, VFB can help you get it!

WHAT DO YOU NEED FROM ME TO JOIN?

You will need to fill out a FIT BODIES SIGN UP FORM and email/ send / fax it back to us. The Sign Up Form is available by emailing us via the link below.

You will also need to supply us with two (2) clear, current photos of you. One needs to be head and shoulders (like passport but in standard size) and one head to waist shot.

No need to get professional shots done if you don't have some already just remember, your photos are what sell you so make sure you are happy with the ones you send.

DOES IT COST MONEY TO BE LISTED WITH VANTAGE FIT BODIES?

A listing in VANTAGE FIT BODIES catalogue costs as little as $19.95 per person!!

This fee goes towards paying for our web crew to build your own personal profile and webpage. Your payment also helps cover the cost of us marketing YOUR profile to casting agents, producers and photographers Australia wide.

You have a number of payment options. Cheque, Direct Deposit, Money Order or Online using your MasterCard or Visa. The details for all payments are on the Sign Up Form we will send you.

The main way VFB makes money is by booking their talent (you) for work as we charge a 17.5% fee for bookings, so for us to make money we need to get our talent working, GREAT FOR THOSE IN THE VFB CATALOGUE AS WE WILL BE WORKING HARD TO PROMOTE YOU!!
